Buddy will add all sorts of improvements to your LX.

Garlic is a 100lx/200lx database reconstructor. It scans a corrupt database for any valid records, then outputs it to a new file.

HV created by Andreas Garzotto will allow you to view HTML documents on your LX.

With Ariel Rocholl's PalDRAW you can create vector graphics with your Palmtop. I think it is the first drawing application created solely for the palmtop.

Small but powerful text editor for the palmtop.

Gilles' Khol wrote this wonderful program which turns your palmtop sideways. This makes reading E-Text’s much easier on your eyes.

Small but effective LX to PC file transfer program.

Further Help is available

[*] The Compuserve HPHAND Forum is the best place for information about the HP200LX. If I have a question or a problem, it's the first place I look for programs, documentation, or help. The libraries have nearly 800 programs, and dozens of messages are posted in the message session every day.

[*] Subscribe to The Palmtop Paper, a Newsletter/Magazine. (Not free, but a value, and worth the fee). It is a great resource. I bought a year's back issues at the same time that I subscribed for the upcoming year. Each issue is full of advertisements, dealers you can call, reviews of add-on hardware, gossip, popular shareware and public domain programs, and announcements from HP. They also offer utility disks. It's a joy to read the paper; they're so enthusiastic. You can request more information by sending email to The Palmtop Paper. Or, you can contact:

[*] Get a copy of the Educalc catalog. It's a good place to see what's available. It lists accessories, carrying cases, memory cards, modems, misc hardware, software, and more. They update the catalog several times a year. The latest copy has nearly two dozen pages of HP200LX products. If you have an HP200LX, you'll want to look at this catalog. When you're looking for something, call them, or drop by if you live near LA. I've found them to be very helpful.

[*] Visit Ace Technologies, and while you are there, order a copy of their catalog. They carry a full product line and sell HP200LXs, accessories, and software. They also manufacture many items and will sell direct to the public. They offer bundles and often have specials.
